Delete your account and data

How to remove your account, your photographs and your reports - from inside the app or your web account in under a minute, or by writing to us.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and needs no contact with us.

  1. 1Open Saundarya AI and go to Profile
  2. 2Scroll to Account
  3. 3Tap Delete account
  4. 4Confirm - you will be asked to type DELETE, because this cannot be undone

  4. 4Type DELETE to confirm

Deletion of your photographs and reports is immediate and permanent. They cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us.

Or ask us to do it

If you cannot access the app - a lost device, a forgotten password - email contact@saundaryaai.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account".

We may ask one question to confirm you own the account. We will not ask you why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

What is deleted

  • Every photograph you have submitted
  • Every report and all scan history
  • All facial analysis data derived from your images
  • Your name, email address and password hash
  • Your app preferences and settings

What we have to keep

Two categories survive deletion, both for legal reasons rather than commercial ones. Neither contains your photographs.

Payment and tax records
Retained as long as tax and companies law requires, typically 8 years. Contains transaction amounts and dates, not images
Backups
Purged on the ordinary backup cycle, no later than 90 days. Not accessible for normal operations in the meantime

A Premium pass ends with the account

Deleting your account ends any Premium pass on it. Passes never renew, so nothing is charged after deletion - there is nothing to cancel first. The unused remainder of a pass is not refunded.

Take a copy first

If you want your data before it goes, download it first: Profile → Privacy & data in the app, or Download my data on the Account page of your web account. It is a machine-readable JSON file. You can also email contact@saundaryaai.com and we will send a copy within 30 days, free of charge. Do it before you delete - afterwards there is nothing left to export.
